Our Personal Family Preparation Service is a skill development tool for international assignees and their families. It is up to 6 hours of intensive preparation and consultation that provides candidates and their families the opportunity to strategize for success through awareness building and skills coaching. Through the discussion, our counselors help participants identify vulnerabilities, strengths and strategies for success in relation to the challenges of relocation and cross-cultural adaptation.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to do the following:
- Understand culture shock, and limit their chances of assignment failure
- Work more effectively and productively in an international setting
- Develop cultural awareness and enhanced problem solving skills
- Understand how to minimize the period of adjustment, so that they (as well as their families) can reach optimal functioning and productivity as soon as possible
