Overview

This workshop gives managers the tools and resources they need to handle employees with difficult behaviours in an appropriate and professional manner. Participants learn how to identify individuals showcasing more serious behaviour patterns, and how to best manage these employees to mitigate any negative effects on both the employee’s performance and the workplace.

Learning objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to do the following:

  • Differentiate between an employee experiencing difficulty versus an employee with a difficult behaviour.
  • Discuss the various types of difficulties experienced by employees.
  • Understand the various types of difficult behaviours.
  • Apply skills and strategies to support both groups of employees.
